We need your support to continue working for the well-being of Latin American women.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life of people who identify as Latin American women by promoting integration, supporting mental well-being, and building a strong community bond. Our efforts focus on fostering connections within the group and establishing relationships with the broader British community.

Connection to Roots:

We are committed to nurturing a deep and meaningful connection to the cultural roots of Latin American women in Bristol, offering spaces for exploration, celebration, and preservation of their heritage, ensuring a sense of belonging and pride in their identity.

Our Mission:

• Increase the visibility of Latin American women in Bristol, encouraging them to actively participate and grow within the community.
• Promote the diversity of Latin American music, culture, and cuisine in Bristol, fostering connections between communities and celebrating diversity.
• Empower Latin American women in Bristol to embrace and integrate into British culture through networking, informational sessions, participatory activities, workshops, and valuable community resources to support their growth.

What do Latinas in Bristol CIC do?

We started in 2022 out of a need to build connections and share different cultures. Our journey began with a survey and a small gathering of curious Latinas. In 2023, after experiencing exponential growth, we obtained legal status and officially founded the CIC (Community Interest Company) as Latinas in Bristol.

Today, we are almost 400 women strong in our WhatsApp community and continue growing!

We are proud to say we’ve built a beautiful community, with city-wide representation and a partnership with Arnolfini, one of Bristol’s most iconic venues, where we are currently showcasing our art (Latinas Exhibition).

We have also:

• Created the first Latin American library,
• Started a film club and a book club,
• Launched the first Latin market in collaboration with LACS in Bristol,
• Hold weekly Art & Craft sessions every Tuesday,
• Offer immigration support and guidance, and so much more!

Why do we need your support?

At Latinas in Bristol, we build networks through connection and love for the Latin community living in England. That’s why it’s so important for us that our activities and content remain accessible to everyone who wants to participate.

Our current goal is to continue growing and strengthening our organization. To make that happen, we need support from the community.

We are asking for your contribution so that the community can become our main source of funding, allowing us to work with greater freedom, without relying entirely on sponsorships or grants.

Members who choose to be part of this project aren’t paying to access our community—they contribute so we can keep growing, run workshops and events, and amplify our voices. Every contribution helps sustain administrative and organizational costs and supports continued investment in our beautiful community.

Important: You do not need to be a woman or Latina to become a member and support our work—all contributions go toward supporting the community.
